Dear New or Basic Bearded Dragon Keeper,

Being in an animal health profession and a successful breeder of
various reptiles, including the newest craze, namely the Bearded dragon
(Pogona vitticeps), I got confronted with all sorts of questions and
problems relating to bearded dragon care. More and more new owners
started to contact me for help. Initially I decided to compile a very
basic set of instructions to give to my clients, as a bonus, to help
them and their new pet. By that time the demand was low, but as the
word on these wonderful lizards got out more and more people started to
enquire about proper care for their pet Bearded dragon. In the meantime
I also got a lot of positive feedback, recommendations and even more
questions from current clients. This was where The Basic Bearded Dragon
Manual was born!

Today Bearded dragons are very popular alternative or exotic pets.
Unfortunately a lot of these animals still suffers unnecessarily
because they are kept incorrectly, mostly as a result of ignorance!

"When I bought my first Beardie from our local reptile-friendly pet
shop, the owner never told me about proper Bearded dragon housing,
